So I came out for a visit this weekend. Flew directly into Steamboat (Yampa Valley / Hayden airport) on Thursday. Plans are to get a few things done for the house – new pictures, some improved light switches, better thermostat for the gas fireplace, etc… AND – to meet up with a couple great friends – Pete from Boulder, and Mark who went to Cornell with me 30 years ago!
Friday morning I went on a run just down at the bottom of Walton Creek Road – very close to here. I drove, but should have run there as it’s so close! It’s the Yampa River Core Trail and I entered at the Walnut Creek section… Saw a hot-air balloon too overhead –
