Friday night after biking, we cooked in – Mark pulled together a great meal – ribeyes, corn on the cob and asparagus w/mushrooms, all cooked on the bbq! (Pete handled the dinner biscuits, and as normal kept the Margherita’s pouring.)
On Saturday… We went on another bike ride all morning, this time on the back side of Emeral Mountain, and were too tired to do anything else that afternoon! Picked up pizza from Clyde’s Pies – wood fired pizza. I give them 5-stars!
Sunday we took it easy in the morning, did some shopping mid-day in downtown Steamboat Springs, then went to Pearl Lake in the afternoon – Mark and I paddleboarded the whole lake, while Pete found a nice bike trail. The area around Pearl Lake is really beautiful and it’s only a 45 min drive north from the townhouse. We took some shots along the way, as it was a nice sunny afternoon. Thought 69ºF was chilly for going on the lake, but that sun really does a number on generating heat!!
